I've completely diverged from the official prompts now and I'm basically just drawing whatever I want. Here's a cat I see outside my studio window all the time. He's the neighbors cat, but he always wants in, then out, then in, then out, and when they get sick of him he comes over here and sits under the window. I've sort of gotten off-track with the prompts and I think this might be the last one I will do based on a prompt, but who knows? I still have lots of InkTober things to scan, but my scanner is nearly 17 (!!!) years old and as slow as the day is long. One of these days I'll just have to sit down and scan while I watch TV. Here in the Deep South, the only thing frozen in the garden this time of year is a startled opossum. So here he is, hiding under the hydrangeas, Chinese lanterns, and native grasses of my, ahem, the witch's garden. This is a 6.5"x6.5" ink drawing on a 9"x12" sheet of thick Bristol "board" paper. It was sketched in pencil, then finished in technical, brush, and calligraphy pens.
