InkTober Day 4

Here in the Deep South, the only thing frozen in the garden this time of year is a startled opossum. So here he is, hiding under the hydrangeas, Chinese lanterns, and native grasses of my, ahem, the witch's garden. This is a 6.5"x6.5" ink drawing on a 9"x12" sheet of thick Bristol "board" paper. It was sketched in pencil, then finished in technical, brush, and calligraphy pens. The coloring page version is available to $2+ patrons here: www.patreon.com/titopaints The original is for sale here: click here

Inktober Day 3

The biggest struggle for me this InkTober has been finding time to scan, clean, and post all of my art. I have been drawing quite a bit, and that takes up most of my work day, so I end up thinking "I'll scan it tomorrow"... and then by the time I actually get around to scanning things I have a huge pile and it takes forever! So here's day 3, the prompt was "bait". I don't know how much longer I'll be sticking to the prompts. It's fun but I also kind of want to do my own thing! InkTober Day 2

Today's InkTober prompt is Mindless. I guess it would be pretty obvious to draw a zombie or maybe even an enchanted broom. Alas, I have more immediate concerns, and I seem to be rather fixated on the goings on at the bottom of the garden. Mindless littering is bad enough, but dumping unwanted potions in the underbrush can never turn out well. This is a 6.5"x6.5" ink drawing executed entirely with Le Pen technical pens and one Tombow brush-tipped calligraphy pen. It's available in the InkTober collection if you share my passionate stance on magical littering. A coloring page version of this is available to $2+ patrons at patreon.com/titopaints.

InkTober Day 1

Today's InkTober prompt was "ring." I decided I didn't want to be spooky, so I went ahead and drew the sort of ring you might find growing at the bottom of your garden. Wait... that's not right. Oh well. I spent 4 hours on this piece and used Le Pen technical pens to produce it. The original is available in the InkTober collection here. A printable coloring page is also available to all of my patrons at patreon.com/titopaints.
